Full STI Screen in Mildura
One of our most popular and comprehensive screens is the Full STI Screen. This will test for:
HIV
Chlamydia
Gonorrhoea
Syphilis
Hepatitis B
Mycoplasma
Ureaplasma
The Full Screen requires a blood sample and a urine sample. It is also possible to include testing for infections such as Herpes or Hepatitis C, should you wish to do so. If you test positive for any of these infections, Better2Know will get you an appointment with one of our doctors who will get you a prescription for any medicines you require.
What is the difference between an STI and an STD?
The two terms refer to the same infections (or diseases). An STI is a Sexually Transmitted Infection, and STD is a Sexually Transmitted Disease. We can help you to get tested for all of them. Doctors feel that infections are thought to be more treatable and less scary and so STI is becoming the more common term.
