How Does a Drug Test Work?

The drug tests are each administered with a urine sample. Once the sample is collected, it will be sent to our accredited lab, where it will be accurately tested. Your results will be ready within two business days, from when your sample is received at the laboratory.

How Accurate Are Urine Drug Tests?

Our urine drug tests are very sensitive to the presence of drugs. For the most part, if someone has recently taken any of the drugs on the list, it will come back positive. Since each drug will be identifiable for different amounts of time, it is best to take the drug test as soon as possible for the most accurate results. For example, drugs like marijuana and cocaine will produce a positive test result between 1 and 3 days after taking the drug, while drugs like barbiturates can be identified between 1 and 3 weeks.

What Drugs Can the Screening Identify?

At Better2Know, we have two drug tests that can screen for slightly different things. Both drug tests are run using a urine sample.
